About

Interior Design transforms ideas into experiences. It explores the spaces in which we shop, drink, eat, sleep and work, asking you to question the functional and aesthetic potential of our interior environments. This is a creative, explorative and engaging course, which asks you to push the boundaries of current design thinking to create new experiences and relationships between people, places and spaces.

The course will help prepare you for the challenging and rewarding profession of interior design or interior architecture with a range of projects set by some of the country’s leading interior and architectural practices. We’ll help you learn to bring together the creative and contextual potential of an interior space alongside the technical demands of construction detailing and specification.

The teaching on the course scored 100% in the National Student Survey 2015, as all of the students who completed the survey agreed that the course is intellectually stimulating, the staff are good at explaining things, make the subject interesting and are enthusiastic about what they are teaching. The course scored 96% for overall student satisfaction.

You’ll be encouraged to develop an individual, enquiring and innovative approach to design, supported by a high quality teaching and learning environment with established industry connections.
