Filament is a repurposed lighting retail space, that creates an environment in which knowledge is exchanged and experimental energy efficient lighting, takes on new forms, ideas and potentials.

It is a space that creates dialogue and collaborations within the store, not only within its customers but also through the product composites and more importantly its connections within other businesses in the surrounding area.

Filament challenges our conceptions of beauty and aims to create a repurposed beauty that is both unique and imperfect – valuing the unloved, damaged and discarded.
